How deletion works

1. Request — send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request". You can send it from any device; you do not need to log in.

2. Identify — accounts can be anonymous, so we may ask for information that lets us find the data that belongs to you, and only for that (Article 12(6) GDPR). If we cannot identify it, we tell you (Article 11(2) GDPR).

3. Erase — we delete the personal data we hold about you in connection with SafeLink Guardian: your anonymous account and profile, Safety Circle membership, location history, SOS events, check-ins and timers, emergency contacts you added, photos and audio recordings with their fingerprints, notification subscriptions, and any other data linked to your account.

4. Exceptions — we keep data only where a law requires it (Article 17(3) GDPR) and only for the period that law sets; our reply tells you what is kept and why.

5. Confirm — we confirm in writing when the deletion is complete.
